The Garden Resource Program Collaborative presents:
Saturday, February 13th, 1-4PM:
Sow Your Own; Seed Starting and Plant Propagation
Earthworks Urban Farm, 1264 Meldrum near Vernor and Mt. Elliott
Farmers the world over spend the end of
their winters starting transplants indoors from seed. Starting your own plants
from seed (or from cuttings of other plants) will allow you to have more
control over your gardening, become more self-sufficient and save money while
having fun!

February 25th- Grafting and Budding Fruit Trees
March 4th- Each One Teach One; Teacher Training Workshop
The Detroit Urban Garden EducationSeries provides gardeners of all skill levels the opportunity to attend interesting, hands-on workshops on a variety of gardening and garden related topics. The classes, open to all residents of Wayne County, have an organic gardeningemphasis and are designed for gardens that are producing food (vegetables, fruits and herbs). Classes are held twice a month at various locations in Detroit. The cost of the class is $3 for participants in the Garden Resource Program and $5 for non-participants.
