At the heart of both permaculture and herbalism lie the plants that grow all
around us, those we step over, around (and sometimes on) in the daily doings
of our lives.  In the past, everyone possessed a basic knowledge of
herbcraft; how to step outside, reach down and find close at hand the remedy
to some need.  Today, though much of this knowledge has been forgotten, the
plants themselves are still here at our feet (or sometimes stretched over
our heads), and are still available when need arises, if only we take the
time to learn.  And remember.


Join herbalist jim mcdonald for a wander around Yule Love It Lavender Farm
and explore the world of the unique and ubiquitous plant medicines we share
this land with. We'll discuss the identification, ethical
harvest, medicinal & energetic uses of our green
relations through a blend of story, experience and lore, assessable to the
beginner and insightful to the learned.
